Dear Sisters,
We would like to wish you all a Happy New Year 2008. May the Lord keep you in his arms and may you stay disciplined in his word.
It is a new year so we are faced with new challenges. These challenges are here to make us grow and become stronger in the Lord.
A couple of weeks ago, I got into a car accident. I was driving on the highway on the right lane. My car slided on black ice. I lost conrol of the car. The last thing I knew my car hit the concrete wall on the left side of the highway. The car is a total lost but I am thankful to God for my life.
The reason why I am telling you this is to show you that sometimes we get attached to material things (jewelery, money, clothes, car…) and we forget how quick the Lord can remove it from us. When my car was gone, I cried because I was worrying about how I was going to get by in the city . The Lord Jesus made me realize that if he can take care of the birds how much more will he take care of us. (Matthew 6: 25-34).
Let's encourage one another by thanking God for what he has done for us, what he has blessed us with and how we can bless others by using us without getting attached to things and worrying about the future because HE only holds our future in His hand.
